My massage therapy career began after 25 years in Arts Management, working at Cleveland Opera and then at the Cleveland Institute of Art as Director of Continuing Education + Community Outreach. I am a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University and Harmony Path School of Massage Therapy.
I am a Reiki Master having studied at St. Joseph Wellness Center (now River’s Edge) as well as at Ursuline College. My certifications also include Manual Lymph Drainage and Pediatric Massage from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies and the Liddle Kidz Foundation, respectively.
My many years of creative work and experience transcend to a rhythmical and intuitive approach to massage, helping to guide the body to release tension and stress and find balance and relaxation. To me, massage is just another form of art and I have been a happy massage artist for almost a decade.
Speaking of art, I have always loved the beautiful lines of cars and trucks, so, perhaps silly, my combination of the car body and the human body seems natural to me. Some folks take better care of their cars than they do their own bodies - hopefully I can help balance that out!
At 16, I was lucky enough (thanks to my generous Uncle Karl and to my mechanically inclined Brother Marty) to have a ‘69 Chevelle SS! It was black with red pin stripping and I felt so very cool driving it! Before becoming parents, my husband and I had several pick-up trucks which I still miss. Now that our son is driving himself, we’re on the hunt for a classic 1960’s truck. If you’ve got one tucked away in a garage, please let me know!
